At 350 lbs wearing a size 30 in clothes, I thought the chances of me losing enough weight to be healthy was no longer possible. I thought that I had let myself go for too long and my body would never change. I was wrong. I started doing Weight Watchers to learn how to eat and Tae-Bo to help me get fit and speed up my weight loss. I used to have a hard time fitting into booths in restaruants and fitting in chairs that had arms on them. The last straw was when I couldn't fit the largest size in the plus size women's clothing stores. I used to just buy the biggest size they had in stretchy material and wear whatever would stretch over my stomach to try to cover my huge middle. I had no full length mirrors in my home so I didn't have to look at myself. Through prayer and patience I started Weight Watchers and Tae-Bo. I started to disappear before everyone's eyes. At 38 years old, mother of 4, and 160 lbs thinner, I am in the best shape of my life. I have so much energy and feel like a new person. Even though I was morbidly obese, I was still able to do Tae-Bo. I just went at my own pace starting out slowly and learning the techniques so that I wouldn't injure myself and so I would get the most out of my workout. Before long I was able to complete any advanced Tae-Bo tapes I could get my hands on. Now, with Tae-Bo Bootcamp, I can feel more muscle tone and flexibility and because I have done Tae-Bo since the beginning of my weight loss, I have very little loose skin which makes losing so much weight even better. I feel healthy and strong now. I thank God for guiding me to Tae-Bo and making Billy Blanks a part of my life.
