SARAH
I began my weightloss journey February 1, 2003 and I love sharing my weight-loss story!! Tae Bo was the first workout I attempted at 250lbs. I was a newlywed and saw the pictures from my honeymoon and became SO upset. I have always struggled with my weight-ever since I was 8 Years old and I was
searching for something to get me out of that dark tunnel I was in...The First Tae Bo workout I did was hard, and it brought me to realize even MORE that I
was big, 23 years old and I knew the older I got, the worse it would be for me. Billy's words pushed me to try my hardest. Even though I could hardly get
through a workout, he said to just walk in place and keep at it. So,I did and after changing my eating habits, within 6 months I dropped 40 lbs. and was
ready for MORE TAEBO.This was where my thirst for challenge began. I saw what I had accomplished, and knew I could do more. Tae Bo helped me connect with my body and has led me to a lot of self-realization and also got me into other forms of exercising like Yoga, biking & hiking.  Now, it's been over 2 years, and I still would like to lose more weight but if it takes me 2 more years, at least I know I've kept over 75lbs. off and continue to grow stronger with my workouts. My knees don't bother me like they used to ( I have arthritis), I quit smoking and my bloodpressure is normal after being
high for 2 years. SO, with healthy eating and Tae Bo I was able to lose the weight, tap into my will and build my self confidence.   I find myself motivating others all the time when they see my before pictures hanging up
at work!  One of my favorite quotes of Billy's is from the Tae Bo Live DVD. I don't know it word for word, but it's at the end of the Advanced workout. He says that without your spirit and your will, your workout means nothing. Which couldn't be further from the truth. Lasting changes need to come from within or else they may not last.
